Time for change

I decided to change the whole theme of the blog! I'm going to start writing about stuff girls actually care about. Like make-up and boys and cheer and all that wonderful stuff.

I recently went through a bit of a change myself. I decided that I can do more and that I need to be the best person I can be.

Its been awhile since I have posted, and I am sorry for that. I just never have anything to blog about.
But imma get started right now, and go find some things to blog about!

Love, Sidney

New car!

I dont have my divers licence yet, but I shall have it soon. So, my dad just decided that he needed a new car so he went to go get one. This is what he came home with.
2012 Kia optima. I, personally, am in love with it. It rides smooth, like every other new car, and its just all over amazing. I have been looking at tons of cars and this is the one that I like. My dad said that when I can drive I can drive this car whenever I want. So, in the end, I think that it will end up being my car. (Don't tell my dad.) But, anyway. I love it!

I love color!

Hello! I'm sorry I have not posted in awhile. I just can never find anything to blog about anymore. But, I found one.

I love the idea of tights under shorts. What do you guys think? Personally I like the idea but either you love it or you hate the idea. I happen to love it but then again I dont really dress like anyone else I know. I love things that are crazy and bright because thats just the way I am!

I also love the idea of colored tights! I will try it tomrrow maybe and I will post pics!

My dream car!

Well, my birthday is coming up and I will be turning 16! And well, you know what that means! Driving! Anyway, I have changed my mind 300 times about the car I wanted.

This is the first car I was actually serious about. I absolutely love this car. It is a 1967 camaro.
but lateley I have been looking at more reasonable cars.

I have some conditions.
1. NO BUGS.

2. I need a backseat. No, not for what you think. I need a backseat because I have lots of friends, and I have lots of stuff. I need somewhere to put them/ it.

3. It cant be UGLY. and all one color.

4. It has to be fast. No one likes a slow car.

4. Four doors.

I want a car that no one else has. I like being different. I want a car that I'm going to love until I can get a new one. My parents have some pretty big shoes to fill.

How to flirt. ;)

I naturally consider myself a natural flirt. I know that is bad sometimes, but oh well. I have a friend who does not know how to flirt. At all. I know I did a post like this before, but I wanted to do another one.

1. Wear something that makes you feel flirty. Flirting is all about attitude and while a guy's receptiveness to your flirting may depend greatly on how you look, the most important thing is to dress in a way that makes you feel good about yourself. You could look fantastic in something attention-grabbing, but if you feel uncomfortable and not like yourself and slouch and cross your arms and display unapproachable body language, you'll be a terrible flirt. Experiment with your appearance until you can look at your reflection in the mirror and feel like you've given your beauty the representation it deserves. Accept yourself, revel in your best features and your individuality, and you'll have a great foundation for flirting: confidence.

2.  Be playful. Don't be uptight. Don't worry about how you look. Don't get too hung up on everything being perfect. Just relax. Smile. Be goofy, crack jokes, and laugh. Be laid back. Have fun. Don't be afraid to tease him a little! (Just don't go overboard—the point is to be playful, not mean.)

3.  Use positive body language. Angle yourself toward other people, sit or stand with an upright (but not stiff) posture, and uncross your arms. Make eye contact. Smile often.

4.  Break the touch barrier. Touch him lightly on the arm or shoulder when you're talking. Just make it a quick, innocent touch, and don't make a big deal out of it. Holding hands is also a good way to break the touch barrier. The simple act of touching can strengthen the intimacy between you and him.
  • Sometimes, he will break the touch barrier, and if you're comfortable with him doing so, touch him back.
  • Another good way of breaking the touch barrier is to "compare hand sizes" then smile and lace your fingers for a moment. This is a cute way to "break the barrier."
  • Other subtle ways to touch him without just reaching up and grabbing his arm or something is to brush imaginary fuzz off of his shoulder, fix his sweatshirt string, casually tapping him while laughing, resting your head on his shoulder if you’re tired, or playfully punching or tickling him as a joke. These will all signify comfortable boundary-crossing in an innocent manner.
5.  Compliment him. Be sure to compliment them in a casual and friendly way on things that are true. Sometimes, people will make up compliments just to talk to someone, but that is the totally wrong way to give a compliment. You really should compliment on things you really like, so you sound more sincere naturally. Sometimes, complimenting their family or other things they are proud of works.

6.  Show interest. Get to know him by asking about, and showing interest in, his life. Ask about his interests, jobs, family, friends, etc.

Sexual Wednesday

How many of you guys have heard of Jenna Marbles? She is hilarious right? Well, for those of you who don't know who she is I suggest you go check her out. She is a YouTube star. She makes videos every Wednesday. Which she likes to call "Sexual Wednesday".

Jenna Marbles came to prominence with her video "How To Trick People Into Thinking You're Good Looking", which had over 5.3 million views in its first week. The video was well-received by the female demographic. Her video "How To Avoid Talking To People You Don't Want To Talk To" was featured in an August article in the New York Times and ABC News, in which Mourey was quoted as saying, "I'm sick and tired of guys thinking that just because I showed up at a club or a dance or a bar, that I want to have their genitalia touching my back side," though in the actual video, the word "genitalia" was actually "junk", and the word "back side" was actually "ass." The video has over 17,430,000 views as of January 2012.
As of January 2012, Jenna Marbles's channel has over two million subscribers.

She is the number 1 most subscribed female and the 10th most subscribed in the world.

The songs that define my mood.

Over the past few days I have felt like shit. Why, you ask? Boys. There is this one guy. I have never met anyone like him. When I am really super happy, I cry. When I'm with this guy, that is how happy I am. He makes me feel like I am perfect and no one has ever made me feel like that. There are no words to describe how I feel about him. During this first song I told this guy how happy I was with him. (While we were on my bed) So, we decided that it would be 'our' song.

Lately I have not been speaking to this guy. Don't ask why because I really don't know what happened. So, lately I have been in a real shitty mood. Here are some songs that describe it.

A little bit stronger. Sara Evens.

                                             Disgusting. Ke$ha

The story of us. Taylor Swift.
Remind me. Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley.
                                          Misery. Maroon 5.
                                                 It will rain. Bruno Mars.
                                            A thousand years. Christina Perri.

                                            Jar of hearts. Christina Perri.

                                             Bleeding love. Leona Lewis

                                              Arms. Christina Perri.
                                               Just a kiss. Lady Antebellum.
Wish you were here. Avril Lavigne.
                                          When you're gone. Avril Lavigne.
                                           Hurt. Christina Aguilera.

Fantastic weekend!

 Darrian and I
Bre Anna and I
Kenzie and I

This weekend has been so awesome! Usually, my weekends suck ass, so I thought I would tell you about this great weekend! First, I had a game, and well, my friends are there so we always have a good time. Then, Saturday we had another game, and afterward my friend Kenzie was having a party, but I skipped it to have a guy come over, and I am now in love with the song "Halo" by Beyoncé. Then, today I had to wake up early and get on a school bus at 9:45am to go to a competition that our schools competition cheer team was participating. They qualified for state! Whooo! Go knights!

Yeah, they piss me off too.

You know what really will piss a girl off,  but make her happy at the same time? The guy she likes. I don't want guys to take all the blame, but they take the most of it. Sometimes, I have trouble getting into an interesting conversation with this one guy. I also seem to have trouble getting his attention. Here are some tips to help you with the same problem.

1. Be yourself. No one likes fake people. This is the most common tip, but it works.
2. Smile. Its friendly and inviting.
3. Don't obsess. Really. Its creepy.
4. Find out what he is interested in, and talk to him about it. Don't pretend to be interested, though.
5. Make sure you have your own life. If you are busy he might become interested.
6. Don't constantly text him. Have a nice conversation, but if he doesn't text back don't worry. There is always a good reason they didn't text back.
7. Keep the mystery. Don't tell him everything about you all at once, let him figure it out on his own.
8. If it doesn't work out, don't freak. If it doesn't work out don't let that shoot you down. It didn't work for a reason.
9. Don't believe what you hear. Figure it out for yourself.
10. Compliment them. Make them feel good.
11. Make them think of you. Just say hi.

This link has some good tips, but don't over-do it.

Is cheerleading a sport?

Yes. Cheer leading is a sport. It has a defined set of rules and there are tons of competitions. To anyone who has seen a cheer competition you will know that there is a lot of hard work that goes into it. If you have ever seen someone tumble and say that cheer leading is not a sport you are crazy. I am fascinated by tumbling. I am working at it. I was having this argument with my friend Elijah, he says that cheer leading is not a sport because we don't run into each other and obtain bruises throughout basketball games, and we don't get 'run over' throughout basketball games, which is not true. We fall. All the time. Besides, in cheer you are not supposed to get bruises. He claims that for a sport it requires a lot of running and stamina. In cheer you need tons of stamina to do the whole competition routine. You have to be tight, tumble, and hit every motion on the right count, and smile while doing it. I have noticed that guys are the ones that think that it is not a sport, and girls do. This conversation gets me all worked up all the time. People think we are all peppy, snobby, bitches. Its not true. Cheer is a sport.

Guy cheerleaders. I have a deep respect for male cheerleaders. Everyone makes such a big deal about guys being cheerleaders. Not all of them are gay, some are, not all. Guys just happen to be some of the best tumblers around. They have power and strength. Not that girls don't, but guys just naturally have more.

Words to live by.

1. Never talk yourself into liking a guy.
2. If you have to think twice, don't do it.
3. If your guy acts different to your parents than to you, don't date him.
4. 'I can' is 100% better than IQ
5. Your couch shouldn't be the only thing that pulls out.
6. If a guy tells you about a girl, don't get jealous, he has nothing to hide.
7. Don't let a sweet text cover up an ugly lie.
8. Don't judge a book by its cover.
9. Travel the road less traveled.
10. You are to judge your own wealth, no matter what someone else says.
11. Gingers have no souls.
12. Gingers should be given pity because, they have no life or brain or beauty but the red tone in their head sends off a vibe of "I don't give a fuck"
13. If her legs are like taco bell (Gross, full of unknowns, and open 24/7) She might be a whore.
14. A guy who can't handle you in sweat pants, doesn't deserve you in a wedding dress.
15. A slut is a girl who is whoreible at closing her legs.
16. If you treat someone like a celebrity, be prepared to be treated like a fan.
17. The pain makes you high, but the truth never lies.
18. If a guy can't handle all of you, he doesn't deserve any of you.
19. In the end everything is okay. If its not okay, its not the end.
20. Whores tend to ban together.

Well, these are just a few words that every girl needs to live by.

My little ones:)

This post is about my hermit crabs. I know the joke "Oh, Sidney has crabs" I do. Just not that type. I have hermit crabs. Four of them. Their names are Java, Reefer, Ian, and Larry. I take very good care of them. I got my first one when I went to Myrtle beach. I saw a big cage FULL of painted hermit crabs. So, I eventually talked my parents into letting me buy one. I bought one and at first I named him Ivan, but later changed it to Larry. Sage was sooooo afraid of him. But then again, so was I. Then somewhere I read, despite the name, hermit crabs thrive on the company of other hermit crabs. So I got an aquarium from one of my friends, Grace, and I went and bought two more. I let my two friends Audrie and Chandler name them. Audrie named the only girl of the bunch, Java. Chan named Reefer. Since then I have gained a new friend named Ian. This kid is so funny. So, I told him I would name a hermit crab after him. Hence the name Ian.
                                                             Java^
                                                            Reefer^
                                                          Larry^
Reefer on the left. Ian on the right.

Stay home..or go to school?

Well, today I was faced with a decision. I had a killer headache. I get these often. I had to choose between going to school or staying home and missing the game tonight. So, i chose the best of both worlds. I will stay home for a few hours and go in once I feel better. I am going in at 12 so this must be a fast blog post for right now.

I have tons of stuff that needs to get done today or tomorrow.

1. Clean my fish tank. Its filthy.
2. Give Hannah back all of her shit.
3. Get all of my shit back from Hannah.
4. re-dye my hair. My purple is faded.
5. Party. That is self explanatory

Well, that is not a ton but it still needs to get done. Well, I gotta go to school!

Worst fears.

I am afraid of many things, but I only have a few worst fears.

1. Tornadoes. I HATE tornadoes. I always freak out whenever it storms because I know there is a possibility. They freak me out!

2. Ghosts. I am convinced that my house is haunted. It scares me. In my room I have beads on all my door knobs, and the other night I was so close to sleep that I didn't realize it until the morning that those beads were making noise. Yeah, right? I think part of it is that I watch so many scary shows/ movies.

3. Surgery. I have an odd fear of going under. Like whenever they make you sleep. It scares the hell out of me.

4. Pills. I have another odd fear of swallowing pills. I have to dissolve them in a spoon of water then wash it down with more water. Yeah, I know. Its weird. No matter how bad the pain is I can't take the whole thing. I have only swallowed 2 pills in my entire life, when I was in the hospital after I broke my leg.

5. Being alone. I am afraid that I will not find someone to marry and whatnot when I get older. I never worried about this until a few years ago. Haha.

No pants Thursdays!

Recently a few friends and I came up with a week by week what to wear. It goes like this...

Monday- Normal. Dress in whatever we would like.

Tuesday- TOMS. Everyone wears their toms.

Wednesday- Wacky/ pink. We wear bright colors, usually pink.

Thursday- This is many of my friends favorite, as well as mine. No pants Thursday. We wear leggings instead of pants.

Friday- V-neck/ dress up. All of my friends that do this are cheerleaders. So usually we have to dress up or wear a certain thing, depending on what our coach says.

Ben :)

This post is dedicated to my nephew, Benjamin Cody Schaffner. I have never loved anything so much in my entire life. He will be 2 on July 10th. He is a little ball of joy. My brother, Cody, was 17 when little Benji was born. My brother and his girlfriend, Abby, live together in Van Wert. I wish this was not the case because I am not a fan of my brothers girlfriend. Long story. Benji just happens to be playing with my mom in the kitchen while I sit on the couch listening them play, while my dad and Cody play words with friends on my kindle fire. I got my dad addicted. It is so funny about how mad he gets sometimes. But now back to my point. Benji is the most beautiful baby in the entire world. With his mothers blue eyes and that side of the families blond hair, and Cody's face. Plus, I gave him some diet mountain dew, so he is running around like crazy right now. I hope he turns out like the amazing boy I know he will be. :)

This girl!

Hi, my name is Sidney. There is not much to me.
1. I'm hyper. All the time. Ask anyone.
2. I am boy crazy. There are few boys that catch my eye, but once they do, I like to keep them there.
3. I trust people too easily.
4. I get hurt a lot. Whether its by a friend or a guy I like.
5. I date assholes.
6. I have few people I can count on. There is Justin, Audrie, Chelsi, and Janelle.
7. My old best friend is 100% crazy. Long story.
8. I have liked the same guy for about 3 years.....I know right?
9. I am a Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest addict.
10. I like to keep things simple.
11. There are a bunch of rumors out there about me that my ex Trevor, and my old best friend have started. If you want to know if one is true, ask me. I wont lie.
12. I am stubborn as hell.

That pretty much sums me up. :)
